We visited Swaminarayan Akshardham expecting to stay 30 minutes; we
stayed 4 hours. A truly moving experience that became the highlight of our
visit to Delhi. Unfortunately, it is all too frequent to see divisions in
religion highlighted and yet in reality it is purely people who cause
these divisions. As a practicising Catholic I felt that the visit to
Akshardham was no less holy than any Catholic church or shrine that I have
visited. The brief service we took part in was no less moving than any
Catholic we have taken part in. Put succinctly, "the essence of all
religions is one. Only their approaches are different"; Ghandi. Thank you
for the visit and we look forward to returning. |

Visited the Swaminarayan Akshardham in Delhi during April. What a
wonderful, calm and beautiful place to visit, very spirtual one could not
be more moved by the experience. |

The day I visited Akshardham complex in New Delhi on Jan 31 2008 was
the Most Spiritual Day of my life. My experience says "you just visit
Akshardham and you feel the whole indian culture with in a day" This can
just happen only by blessings and motivation of H.H.Pramukh Swami Maharaj
