Akshardham Opinions

More than two million people visit Akshardham annually. Since it's inauguration in 1992, this complex has been the center of tourist attraction. Many international and national dignitaries have admired this mammoth effort of educating the society. Some are impressed by the architecture of the monument and some are inspired by the exhibitions. Some liked the cleanliness of the complex and some liked the discipline. Selected opinions from the visitors book of Akshardham Complex have been presented here.

Thank you very much indeed for the warm reception I received here and for the exposure to the brilliance of what man can do if he puts his mind to it. It was fascinating for me to see the brilliant fusion of philosophy, technology and ingenuity in the exhibits in this complex. There is so much to see here, and one cannot help but congratulate the community that has produced such marvels.

I have greatly enjoyed my visit, and have been most impressed by the commitment and dedication of those who have built & worship here, as I was on my visit to the sister temple in Neasden, U.K.

This was a memorable experience for my wife & I. Harmony is hard to achieve anywhere but Akshardham shows the way. The cultural & spiritual music also point to harmony. I hope to come again.

My visit was a fascinating and moving experience. The spiritual impact of the Akshardham is palpable. The visual effects, both indoors and outdoors, are well judged. I look forward to a longer visit one day.

"It is as it says HEAVEN. It is truly the eighth wonder of the world. It is the most wonderful temple and Monument that I have ever visited. A splendid and unparalleled work of art and love which will live forever in the hearts and minds of millions of people throughout this planet. It is a Monument not just to the memory of Lord Swaminarayan, but also of the whole of Hindu Culture. I think we can all be very proud of the achievements. My wish is that all people of Indian origin in Britain should come and visit Akshardham."
