wherein scholars from all branches come together on a common platform
to discuss and gain greater depth in a variety of topics.

3. Saint Poets
Conference:
Subject: Social Harmony in the Words of Saint-Poets of Gujarat.
Keynote Speaker: Hon. Justice Gokulkrishnan, Former Chief Justice,
Gujarat.
Language: Gujarati, Hindi, English
Participants: 18 scholars presented their research papers.
Venue : AARSH, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Date: 14 to 16 April 1994
Audience: Teachers, scholars and enthusiasts of Gujarati literature.
Over 100 scholars.
Publication: Based on the Seminar, a book titled Gujarat Ke
Sant Kaviyo me Samajik Samvadita, edited by Dr. Govardhan
Sharma, was published by AARSH. It received glowing reviews in many
literary journals.
4. National
Conference on Vaidikatva
Subject: Vaidikatva in Indian Philosophy and Religion.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. T. N. Dharmadhikari, President of Vaidik Sanshodhan
Mandal, Pune.
Participants: 17 scholars from all over India presented their research
papers and eight lectures were delivered by Sanskrit pundits
Venue: AARSH, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Date: 24 to 26 March 1995
Audience: Sanskrit teachers, scholars & enthusiasts. 150 scholars
participated.
Publication: A book bearing the same title edited by Dr. S. G. Mudgal
is published by AARSH. Appreciated by scholars and critics, the
Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan has distributed it to all well-known
centers of Sanskrit studies across the country.
5. International
Conference on Guru
Subject: Role of Guru in Indian philosophy and religion.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Anantharaman, Director, Metallurgical Laboratory,
Delhi
Participants: Twenty scholars from India and abroad presented their
research papers on the Role of Guru in different religious
sects and systems of philosophy.
Venue: AARSH, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Date: 29 December 1996 to 1 January 1997
Audience: 153 postgraduates, 186 graduates and 25 undergraduates who had come
from all over India. All of them were given a summary of papers well in advance
to enable them to understand the research papers and put questions to the authors.
Unique Features: Each session was chaired by either the Chancellor
or the Vice-chancellor of a University located in Gujarat.
The valedictory lecture was given by the well-known Vedic scholar
Dr. David Frawley. The conference was preceded by an exhibition
of old manuscripts and rare books in the archives of AARSH.
Publications:
With its sister-organization, Aksharpith, AARSH continues to publish
