“Spiritual enlightenment and economic development are the keys to nation building,” he added. PM Singh hoped that the inauguration of the temple would mark the beginning of a new era in religious tolerance and “spread the message of peace and communal harmony in the world.”
“Ours is a country of unity in diversity. This is the ideal preached by Swaminarayan which even influenced the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi,” he said.
Former deputy PM LK Advani complimented the Swaminarayan Sanstha’s volunteers for their dedicated effort for creating a “unique wonder of the world.”
